Organise delivery
The right structure for your project.
Not every project needs Scrum, and not every uncertainty can be planned away. I help project leaders and teams choose an approach that fits the task, its context and the decisions required.
What this involves
Agile project management organises work in manageable steps and uses regular feedback to adjust priorities and solutions. Traditional and hybrid approaches remain useful where requirements, dependencies or other conditions call for them.
When this support is useful
- Priorities keep changing while the actual workload is difficult to see.
- Teams work on many tasks at once, but results come together late.
- It is unclear which elements of traditional and agile approaches fit the project.
Working together
From your situation to the next step.
01
Context before method
We examine requirements, uncertainty and dependencies. The Cynefin framework can help distinguish different problem contexts. We use this understanding to develop a traditional, agile or hybrid approach.
02
Make work and decisions visible
A prioritised backlog, visible workflows and clear responsibilities provide orientation. Scrum or Kanban is used where it supports the actual work process.
03
Establish learning and collaboration
Reviews and retrospectives connect feedback on results with improvements in collaboration. Agile values and leadership provide a framework. Where several teams are involved, we also consider scaling approaches such as SAFe, Nexus and LeSS without rushing to introduce a framework.
What we work towards
- A reasoned choice of approach
- Visible priorities, workflows and decision-making processes
- A shared understanding of roles and collaboration
- Regular feedback on results and improvements
We agree on the precise scope and intended outcomes at the start of the assignment.
Frequently asked questions
Does the whole organisation need to become agile?
No. We start with the specific project. Individual practices may already help. A broader change is only useful when the problem and the conditions justify it.
Do you hold separate SAFe, Nexus and LeSS certifications?
No. These approaches are mentioned as possible points of reference. My documented qualification is Certified Agile Project Manager. It does not imply additional framework certifications.
